ALT8 Strangest Transportation Devices You Can Actually Buy

on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 3:03 PM

Bored of riding your bike or taking the train to work? Well now you can hop on to one of these strange transport solutions to get yourself around. If you keep getting stopped along the way, don’t blame us!

1. The Heely Nano

We’ve written about this one before, and frankly, we can’t seem to get over it. As if the shoes-with-wheels concept wasn’t strange enough, Heelys has now come up with another invention – a skateboard for the shoe called Nano. The detachable device isn’t much bigger than one foot and attaches itself to a cavity in a Heely shoe, that’s worn without wheels. Riders, though, will have to strap on a Heely with wheels on the other foot to provide the push. Who thought Heelys could get any more ridiculous.
